College advice from Tommy Hoyle
After I went to college, I lost track of Tommy for years. He tracked me down when I had little kids - about 2000.
Every six months or so, I'd get a random phone call with a "how's your ass?" message. They were funny and a little bit sad. He was generally pretty far gone when he called.
Often we talked for 15 minutes and then he'd ask for Susan, Julianne, Tom and dad's phone numbers.
Some times I'd miss the call, sometimes it wasn't a good time to talk so I'd let the machine get it. Below is a time I just missed it.
I laughed when I listened (a little sad still) and forwarded to my siblings. I miss the phone calls today.
Today I'm in Dallas (dropping Melinda one of our final times) trying to get home and delayed. I plugged in my headphones and randomly, Samsung brought this up for me.
